There are government grants programs for housing that
cover a variety of housing needs .
The main source of funding for housing grants is the
agency HUD (the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development, a Federal agency). Most HUD grants are
offered locally by a local HUD office or in some cases
by HUD partners with local community groups and
companies providing HUD's service.
