Energy Efficiency Programs
Several programs exist to help you save on your energy bills.
The two main resources are the Weatherization Grant and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
There is another program that helps homeowners by adding the cost of energy improvement costs to your mortgage. It is called the Energy Efficient Mortgage.
The Energy Star Program is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. This program offers many rebates and tax credits for using or purchasing energy efficient and environmentally friendly products and services.
