The 203 (k) Rehabilitation Program is HUD’s main program for providing home repair assistance for single-family   dwellings. The program in conjunction with other state and local programs have successfully helped borrowers with  rehabilitation projects. The program is designed to help revitalize and empower communities and expand the rate of  home ownership.
