Public Housing Home Ownership Program

This HUD program helps low to moderate income families become first-time homeowners.

Self-Help Home Ownership Opportunity Program (SHOP)

This is a HUD program where the homeowner participates and contributes in the construction of the home. HUD rovides   funds to eligible local and regional non-profit organizations to purchase home sites and develop or improve  infrastructure for volunteer- based construction. The funds are used to construct housing units for low- income singles  and families.
